RE: REQUEST FOR A WEEKLY CLASS READING PERIOD

I am writing to request one weekly reading period for Primary Seven learners in the school library. Many pupils would like more time to practise reading beyond the short periods available during ordinary lessons.

A regular library period would help us improve comprehension, vocabulary and confidence. It would also allow pupils to borrow books with guidance from a teacher.

I kindly ask you to consider adding one library period to our weekly timetable. We would be grateful for this opportunity.

Your turn: draft the complete letter
